7. How to keep the spark alive after baby

Marriage is hard already, and then you have a baby. Every couple I know STRUGGLES after the baby is born, sometimes for a loooooong time. In fact, several of my friends are facing divorce after 2-3 years into the baby, which is awful. Serenity and I are far from perfect, but considering how we’re basically opposite people, run a business together, and have a child, we do pretty amazing.

In this episode, I discuss the primary ways we’ve kept our spark alive despite all the stress. And specifically what I specifically do to ensure the connection. I talk about creating safety, so intimacy can happen, how we use the Fair Play method to evenly share chores, and why asking for help doesn’t mean you’ve failed—it means you care.

his episode is for the dads who want to be better husbands—not just better diaper changers. If you're tired, disconnected, or just feel like roommates lately, this one’s for you.

This one’s for every dad learning how to support a partner through the chaos of new parenthood—and for every mom who's felt unseen in the process. Serenity, I love you. Happy Mother’s Day.

In this episode, we discuss:

  • How can couples reconnect emotionally after having a baby?

  • What’s the role of emotional safety in post-baby intimacy?

  • How do you divide household tasks fairly in modern parenting?
